Solan recorded minimum temperature at minus 1 deg while it stayed at minus 0.4 deg at Manali followed by Sundernagar and Mandi 1.2 deg, Shimla 2 deg, Bhuntar 2.4 deg, Una 3 deg and Palampur 3.5 deg, 2 to 4 deg below normal.
The minimum temperatures rose marginally to minus 7.4 deg at Keylong which was coldest in the region while Kalpa in twin tribal district of Kinnaur recorded a low of minus 2.5 deg C.
The day temperatures remained steady in the region with Sundernagar and Solan hottest during the day with a high of 18 deg followed by Dharamsala 16.8 deg, Nahan 15.2 deg, Bhuntar 14 deg, Shimla 13.1 deg, Una 12.2 deg and Kalpa 7.4 deg C.
The local MeT office has predicted dry weather in the region in next few days.
