Hingora kidnapping: accused's property attached

A local court today issued a warrant of attachment of property of the 12 accused in the a case relating to abduction of a Gujarat industrialist in which the kidnappers had allegedly taken Rs 9 crore as ransom.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Brajesh Kumar issued the warrants against prime accused Chandan Sonar, Assistant Sub-Inspector of Jharkhand Police Nagmani Singh, his sons and others involved in the abduction of the Gujarat industrialist Sohail Hingora.
The warrants were issued on the plea of the investigation officer of the case.
Hingora was kidnapped from Daman on October 29 last year. He was brought to Nayagaon in Saran district. The kidnappers freed him after almost a month after allegedly receiving the ransom amount.
The kingpin of the gang involved in the kidnapping, Chandan Sonar, who hails from Bihar's Vaishali district, is still at large.
