The additional charge has been entrusted to Hingorani after the exit of its head of Corporate Communication Ajay Jasra, who has joined rival airline IndiGo in the same capacity.
Announcing this, SpiceJet said Hingoranu has been associated with the airline for almost a decade now managing multiple roles such as SVP and head ground and airport services SVP and head global sales and VP marketing and planning.
Earlier he has also held leadership positions with international airlines such as SriLankan, Kuwait Airways and Gulf Air, besides multinational travel companies, Kuoni and ITC Travel House, the airline said in a statement.
