The incident took place at Pasipur village in Kaptanganj area of Azamgarh when Praveen alias Golu (14) and Pawan (15) were playing and an unidentified vehicle hit them, they said.
The children were rushed to the hospital, where they died during treatment.
The incident is being probed, police added.
