HMSI sales up 17% in Nov

Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today reported 17 per cent growth in total sales for November at 3,72,036 units.
The company's total sales stood at 3,19,082 units in the same month last year.
Motorcycle sales went down 4.08 per cent to 1,36,961 units last month, as against 1,42,797 units in November 2013, HMSI said in a statement.
The company's scooter sales jumped by 32.6 per cent to 2,17,049 units from 1,63,679 units in November 2013, it added.
HMSI's exports rose 42.99 per cent to 18,026 units as against 12,606 units in the same month a year ago.
