In a suspected case of honour killing, an 18-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly murdered by her mother and two relatives who were opposed to her relationship with a man in Kurthiya village, police said.
The girl was on Saturday last killed by her mother and two uncles, who were against her relationship. They put her body in a sack and dumped it in a hut in the village, SP Manoj Kumar Jha said.
The body was found by some villagers the same day and police were informed. An FIR against her mother and two uncles was registered yesterday, he said.
