The incident was reported from a hotel in the Govind Nagar area here this evening, following which a case was registered against Ashok Bindal, 45, owner of KVM hotel, they said.
The woman has alleged that she was raped in the hotel by Bindal, Superintendent of Police Chakrapani Tripathi said.
"Bindal has been arrested and being interrogated," Tripathi said adding the woman has been sent for medical examination and further probe is on.
