Employees of the State Industrial Development Corporation (SIDC) would get five per cent additional dearness allowance (DA) with effect from July 1, 2016, an official release said.
This was decided in the 256 th meeting of the Board Of directors today, it said.
Industry Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said work on the industrial areas in Pandoga and Kandrori has been expedited and the plots would be ready for sale by August.
Work on the common facility centre at Pandoga and skill development centre at Palkwah would be completed by the end of next month, he said.
Expressing concern over the delay in making the Baddi Trade Centre operational, Agnihotri said, "The state government has completed all the formalities in this regard, but the Centre was unnecessary delaying this project."
The tool room at Baddi was also being delayed by the central government, he alleged.
The industry minister said the Himachal Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board has earned a profit of Rs 19 crore in the 2016-17 fiscal.
The Himachal Pradesh General Industries Corporation(GIC) has earned a net profit of Rs 7.76 crore during the last financial year, he said.
