Speaking at the concluding function of 'Prakash Parv', marking the 350th birth anniversary celebrations of Guru Gobind Singh at historic Ridge Maidan here, Singh said the teachings of the Sikh guru are all the more relevant in the present times and we should follow them to promote peace and harmony in the society.
He said Guru Gobind Singh inspired him as a great warrior who protected and fought for the unity of his people and showed humanity a better path along with strengthening the Sikh religion.
Punjab Education Minister Daljeet Singh Cheema, Chief Parliamentary Secretary I D Lakhanpal were among the other dignitaries who were present on the occasion.
