Four of them would walk free on August 15, he said.
Prisoners serving sentences of 10 years or more have been given three months remission and those with five to 10 years would get two months remission, the Director General of Police-Prisons Somesh Goyal said.
Those with three to five years would get two months remission and prisoner's with one to three years would get 40 days remission. Those with less than one year sentence would get 30 days remission, he said.
