"From last many years, none of the youth from Himachal Pradesh has qualified for the judicial service. It is a matter of concern and needs to be pondered upon," he said at a function hosted by Dehra Bar Association last night at Dehra, 60 km from here.
Singh said there was no dearth of calibre among Himachalis and he wanted the youth to qualify for the service.
The Chief Minister said Dehra Bar Association would be strengthened and the office of Municipal Committee would be relocated.
He said he will take up the issue for setting up courts of Additional District and Sessions Judge at Dehra, Nurpur and Palampur respectively if there was any such proposal from the High Court.
