Hindustan Shiv Sena (HSS) today held a demonstration in Jammu protesting against sharp increase in prices of essential commodities.
Led by national president of HSS Dimpy Kohli, activists raised slogans and said it was difficult for the common man to survive if prices keep rising.
The protesters also burnt the Prime Minister's effigy.
"We demand immediate roll back of petrol and diesel prices to avoid unnecessary burden on people," Kohli told reporters.
State government and Centre should take immediate action against hoarders of foodgrains and other commodities, he said.
