Several hundreds of devotees of ISKCON Mayapur are expected to participate in the celebration of Nityanand Trayodasi scheduled at the temple compound tomorrow morning.
The day is considered as the appearance day of Lord Nityananda and several devotees from corners of the globe are expected to participate in the fervent spiritual fervour.
As per Gaudiya Vaishnava philosophy it is believed that Lord Nityananda is first expansion of Lord Sri Krishna and an eternal associate of Lord Sri Chaitanya MahaPrabhu.
The entire temple compound has been decorated with colourful flowers by hundreds of enthusiastic devotees.
On Monday as a part of the celebrations, a bunch of 250 devotees from Sridham Mayapur have left for Ekachakra Dham, Birbhum district, which is the birth place of Lord Nityanand.
