Hyd-Kol flight makes emergency landing due to unwell passenger

A Kolkata-bound flight from Hyderabad made an emergency landing at Biju Patnaik International Airport here today after a passenger became unwell and complained of chest pain.
The ailing passenger was admitted to a city hospital for medical treatment and the IndiGo flight took off for Kolkata after the unscheduled halt for about 30 minutes at Bhubaneswar this morning, said Airport Director Sharad Kumar.
The condition of the passenger, identified as Sashi Menon,is now better and he would soon be sent to Kolkata by another flight, he said.
