The mother of six said she can sometime knock up fairly elaborate dishes but finds it difficult to cook basic ones, reported Daily Mirror.
"I'm one of those people, I can learn this random exotic meal... A really interesting Afghan dish with eggplant but I don't know how to make basic spaghetti," she said.
Jolie, 39, insisted 11-year-old son, Pax, is a better cook than her.
"Now that I'm officially a wife, I said to Brad that I was going to try to learn to cook properly. He said, 'Don't bother'... He's tasted my cooking! I'm not the best cook. Pax is a better cook than me. Pax likes to cook. But I try to when I can. Any house that we're in, we all chip in.
