West's stunt at the Grammy, reminiscent of his VMA moment with Taylor Swift, was thought to be a joke initially but the rapper said he was serious as Beyonce not Beck should have won the trophy.
"Beck knows that Beyonce should have won - you know that," West said.
Asked if he'd ever heard of Beck before the Grammy awards show, he said, "Come on, man, I love Beck. But he ain't have Album of the Year."
West nearly crashed Beck's acceptance speech after his 'Morning Phase' won the coveted Album of the Year Award over other albums by Beyonce, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and Pharrell Williams.
