Actress Drew Barrymore says she is "loving" being a mother, after welcoming her second daughter Frankie last week.
The 39-year-old actress, who gave birth to her first child Olive in 2012, discussed the joys of motherhood and revealed how she balances work and babies, reported Digital Spy.
"I am loving being a mom. Olive is a year and a half now so the girls will be close together in age. I think, just get it done - it will be awesome!"
Barrymore revealed that she is a hands-on mother and said that she and husband Will Kopelman are yet to recruit anyone to help out with the kids.
"We spend every weekend together. We don't have a babysitter. It's just us. I can't wait to see how that's going to work out with the second one!"
The star also hinted at a career change and said that she would love to move behind the camera and have a go at directing, though she stressed that this would only happen once her children are older.
"I'm interested in directing in the future but that is such an all-consuming job. When the kids are in school and they don't need me all day long, maybe there's a way to balance it. Other people have figured it out so there must be a math to it.
"I wouldn't trade bringing up my kids to do that but in a few years I'd like to think about it again."
The actress can next be seen starring opposite Adam Sandler in upcoming rom-com 'Blended'.
