Rolling Stone guitarist Keith Richards may have quit cocaine nearly a decade ago, but says he still enjoys a marijuana in the morning.
"I smoke regularly, an early morning joint. Strictly Californian," the 71-year-old singer said.
Richards also praised the legalisation of cannabis in certain American states, reported Daily Telegraph.
"One of the most pleasant things to watch is a map of America (showing states where the drug is legal), where it goes, green... Green... Green.
"Whether it's a good thing in the long run, I don't know."
Richards gave up cocaine in 2006 after falling from a tree and undergoing brain surgery, and has not taken heroin since 1978.
