The raids were carried out by officials of investigation wing of I-T department in the hospital, at the house of its founder and President of All India Moovendar Kazhagam N Sethuraman in Uthangudi in Madurai and also offices here, a top I-T official said.
More than 12 officers from Tiruchirapalli, Salem and Coimbatore took part in the raids which lasted for more than 24 hours and completed today.
"The raids began yesterday morning and were completed today," the official, who declined to be named, told PTI.
Some documents were seized during the raid, the official said but declined to elaborate.
Police protection was provided in the hospital and to Sethuraman's house during the raid, police said.
