Akshay, who recently celebrated his 14th wedding anniversary, said he does not socialise much and tries to be with his family when he is not shooting.
"I think being able to spend maximum time with each other is the key behind our happy marriage. Whenever we get time, we either go out for a vacation, dinner or catch a movie together," Akshay told PTI.
The 47-year-old 'Baby' star and the elder daughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia tied the knot on January 17, 2001. The couple are proud parents of son Aarav and daughter Nitara.
"She never shares her opinion. She has watched most of my films. Though we both belong to showbiz but we hardly interfere into each other's business. When I come home from shoot, we don't discuss work," he said.
Akshay said Twinkle, who was last seen in 'Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega' with Fardeen Khan, has no plans of returning to Bollywood.
"She is very happy in her own space and will not make a comeback to Bollywood," he said.
