The 32-year-old singer has confessed she misses the energy of working within a band, as she did with Girls Aloud, and would relish the opportunity to collaborate with Rita in the recording studio, reported Contactmusic.
"I miss working with the girls in the band, so would love to work with Rita now on something. I know it'd be great. She's so funny," Cheryl said.
The singer is currently busy balancing her role as a judge on the reality TV show "The X Factor" with recording her new album, which she revealed is likely to be released in 2016.
