Somerhalder, 36, was leaving a Paris hotel with his wife Nikki Reed, when greeted by a group of fans who asked the actor to take pictures with them, reported Hollywood Life.
The American heartthrob told his admirers he just wasn't in the mood to pose for photographs, and requested not to follow which reportedly left his fans heartbroken.
"No, no, no. Hey, listen. Just stop. Everybody, listen. I love you guys. I am not taking a single photo today. It is my day. Don't follow us, please. I love you guys. You're so good to us. You're so awesome," he said.
