IFIM Business School, a city- based private B-School, today said it has partnered with NASSCOM SSC (Sector Skills Council) to become their first Licensed Training Partner (LTP) in Karnataka.
This strategic alliance aims to offer Associate Analytics, Junior Data Associate and Associate Recruitment courses to all graduate students as an add-on course to enhance their employability skills, primarily in IT/ITes sector, the school said in a release.
It said IFIM would follow the curriculum and course content developed by NASSCOM, which would further assess and award certificates to the successful candidates along with IFIM via NSDC's SDMS (Skill Development Management System).
Stating that the offered training programs were positioned at level 7 in National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF), which is post-graduate level, IFIM said through this association it is equipped and committed to train 10,000 students and professionals across the state.
Educational institutions can sign up with IFIM Business School to get their faculty and students trained and certified in turn jointly by NASSCOM and IFIM, it added.
"Enabling students with both the foundational and high- end requirements of data science and big data analytics is a strategic move for IFIM," Executive Director, SSC NASSCOM and vice-president NASSCOM Dr Sandhya Chintala said.
