Indira Gandhi International airport here has become the first airport in the world to be conferred with British Standards Institution certification for implementing Road Traffic Safety (RTS) management system.
The airport has received the RTS Management System - ISO 39001:2012 certification from the British agency for ensuring effective and safe traffic movement on the city side area, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), which manages the airport operations, said today.
