"We have seen the report and the Inspector General of Police, Meerut Zone, has been asked to examine it," UP IGP (Law and Order) R K Vishwakarma told reporters here.
Asked on which point the IGP would examine the CD, he said all aspects would be looked into.
Regarding suspension of some cops after the sting was aired, Vishwakarma said eight to nine policemen were suspended on charges of dereliction of duty.
On the arrest of BJP MLAs, the IGP (Law and Order) said warrants had been issued by a court and legal process would follow.
Non-bailable arrest warrants were issued by a local court against a BSP MP, two MLAs each of BJP and BSP and 11 other political and community leaders for allegedly inciting communal violence in Muzaffarnagar that has left 47 dead.
