Importance of skill devlt& entrepreneurial qualities stressed

: Union Minister of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Kalraj Mishra today highlighted the importance of skill development programme for youth in different MSME sectors.
Addressing delegates of various Industries Associations after hearing their grievances here, he said his ministry was conducting skill development programmes and the tool rooms and technology development centres under the Ministry had been providing training to a large number of youth to cater to the needs of several important sectors.
He said that his ministry was also holding entrepreneurship programmes to inculcate entrepreneurial qualities among the youth.
He made out a case for fostering the spirit of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial mindset.

Speaking on clustering of MSME industries he said that it was of help for the sustenance of the MSME sector.
He also urged industrialists to adopt new technology and improve quality of their products so that they would be in a position to tap global market.
Chief Secretary to Puducherry government Manoj Parida, , Secretary to Department of Industries and Commerce, S Sundaravadivelou and officials of different departments, NSIC, industries associations and CII were among those present.
Earlier industrial representatives highlighted the problems they encountered and sought remedial steps.
