In terms of development, UP better placed than Guj: Akhilesh

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh today said that in terms of development, his state was in a better position than the Narendra Modi led Gujarat.
Addressing Yuva Shakti Sammelan here Akhilesh said that Modi claimed development in Gujarat, but UP was placed in a better position than his state.
He claimed that large number of welfare schemes being run in UP was not being done in any other state including Gujarat.
The CM said that Modi got 15 years to develop Gujarat, but the present SP government has set an example within its two year rule.
He said that there was no field where SP government was not working.

Yadav said that several schemes like distribution of laptops, kanya vidyadhan, free treatment to poor and free water for irrigation have hugely benefited the people of the state.
