In reply to Australia's 572 for seven declared in the first innings, India were 71 for one at stumps on the second day of the fourth and final cricket Test at the SCG here today.
The visitors trail by 501 runs with Lokesh Rahul (31 not out) and Rohit Sharma (40 not out) at the crease.
