India, Australia sign MoU in sports

India and Australia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of sports here today.
The initiative will promote exchange of programmes, experience, skills, techniques and knowledge in sports. It will also facilitate exchange of sports personnel, coaches, officials, training and technologies.
Besides that, it covers athletes' preparation for competitions and broad cooperation in sports.
The MoU was signed in the presence of sports secretary Ajit Sharan and Patrick Suckling, High Commissioner of Australia to India.
