"As Sri Lanka strives towards a peaceful future, the government and the people of India remain committed to assist Sri Lanka in its endeavours of rehabilitation, reconstruction and reconciliation," Indian High Commissioner to Lanka YK Sinha said at a ceremony here.
The ceremony marked the release of a brochure titled "India and Sri Lanka: A partnership that transcends time" and was attended by stakeholders involved in the Indian development projects in Sri Lanka, a statement by the High Commission said.
India's current development projects portfolio in Sri Lanka exceeds USD 1.3 billion, the High Commission said.
