India continue fine run at Commonwealth weightlifting

India continued their fine show at the 2015 Commonwealth Youth, Junior & Senior Weightlifting Championships on the second day of the competition here today.
In 69kg Youth boys, Lalu Taku won the gold medal with a total lift of 282kg. He picked up 125kg in snatch and 157kg in clean and jerk.
Nungshiton Devi, meanwhile, clinched the gold in both 58kg Junior women and 58kg Youth girls categories after lifting 72kg in snatch and 85kg in clean and jerk for an overall effort of 157kg.
In 58kg Senior women division, Minati Sethi settled for the bronze medal with a total lift of 194kg (84+110).
