India go down to Malaysia in World University Squash

Hosts India's campaign in the World University Squash Championship ended here today when they lost 0-2 to Malaysia in the opening round of the mixed-team event.
Having made their debut in the Championship, India could not sign off on a memorable note with Ravi Dixit and Aparajitha Balamurukan falling to Sanjay Singh Chal and Zulhijjah Azan respectively in the first two singles.
The semi-finals, Egypt versus Malaysia and Britain versus South Africa), take place on Saturday.
