Jharkhand Governor Droupadi Murmu today said that India, a powerhouse of technical manpower, had enough potential for growth in the manufacturing sector, rather than remaining a market for the world.
Addressing 590 passed-out students of 2014 and 2015 batch in the National Institute of Technology at its 6th Annual Convocation here today, Murmu said India was on the high growth trajectory and had sufficient talent, ideas and determination to manufacture goods rather than remaining a market for the world.
The Governor said that this was the reason why "Make in India" was launched.
She said scientific and technological innovation could pave way for effective, affordable and sustainable solution to address the problems of the nation.
