Indian admits molesting five-year-old girl in Dubai

An Indian man in the UAE has pleaded guilty in court to a charge of molesting a five-year-old girl inside a building, according to a media report today.
The 23-year-old man, who worked as a supermarket delivery boy, admitted in the Court of First Instance that he molested the girl by "grabbing her hand, and hugging and kissing her in the building where her parents lived".
During investigations, the girl said the man had grabbed her hand by force as she was outside her friend's flat on January 20.
The man, whose identity was not disclosed, pulled the girl to the lift and then to the stairs and kissed her. He also touched her private parts, the Khaleej Times reported.

Police acted after the girl's mother, a 28-year-old Afghan housewife, filed a complaint.
"She went out to play with the neighbours' girls around 12.30 pm. As she was late, I went to look for her in the corridor," the mother told the prosecutor.
"I was shocked to see the supermarket delivery boy molesting my girl. He was hugging her from behind." The man ran away when the mother yelled at him.
The girl recounted to her mother how the man touched her inappropriately. The woman informed her husband and he told her to report the incident to police.
