The worker, identified as SL, had been working in a Sharjah-based bank for several years and reportedly did not suffer from any mental illness.
The deceased's colleague found the body yesterday, Khaleej Times reported. The police transferred the body to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy. They collected forensic evidence from the room.
The deceased's acquaintances are being questioned by the police to ascertain the reason behind the alleged suicide, the report said.
