The delegation, comprising executives of aerospace component manufacturers, training providers and technology companies, would participate in 'Avalon 2017', the Australian International Airshow in Avalon, Melbourne, an official release from the Australian Trade Commission said.
The delegation has been organised by the Aerospace Industry Development Association of Tamil Nadu, Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries and the Australian Trade and Investment Commission.
"The delegation would meet Australian companies and service providers to access Australian technologies and expertise in aerospace manufacturing, maintenance, research and development, education", it said.
The Australian aerospace industry was valued at 4 billion Australian dollars with 830 firms,with most aerospace companies embedded in global supply chains in Europe, United States, United Kingdom, India, China and ASEAN region.
"The aerospace industry is a respected global supplier in offering diverse range of expertise in manufacturing, maintenance, research and development", he said.
Stating that Indian aerospace sector continues to expand domestically and also as an "aerospace component sourcing hub", he said, "there is a significant demand for international expertise across the aerospace manufacturing and services supply chains".
