Indian envoy presents credentials to Singapore President

India's High Commissioner to Singapore Vijay Thakur Singh today presented her credentials to Singapore President Tony Tan Keng Yam.
Singh, 52, has served in various positions, including Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs.
Educated at Tara Hall Convent and Himachal University of Shimla, Singh joined Indian Foreign Services in 1985.
She was appointed as the High Commissioner of India to Singapore in February.
She took over from T C A Raghavan, who finished his Singapore assignment last week.
Raghavan is now India's next High Commissioner to Pakistan.
