"The unidentified man, was the only passenger who sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Saqr public hospital in a critical condition. He sustained serious injuries and fractures, mainly in his head. He died of excessive bleeding," medical officials were quoted as saying by the Khaleej Times.
"The other four injured passengers are recovering and in stable condition," the official said.
"Keeping a safety space, reducing speed limit, and observing lane rule are so critical at all times, particularly during foggy weather while poor take-over is one of the main reasons behind so many accidents," Col Ali Saeed Al Alkeem, director of traffic and patrols department with Ras Al Khaimah police said.
The Dubai Police have recorded 107 traffic accidents during foggy weather conditions on Sunday. Air traffic was also disrupted at Dubai International Airport earlier this week, with many flights cancelled or delayed.
This is the second major accident involving Indians in Dubai in a week. On Sunday, two Indians workers were killed in a bus accident.
