Indore: four child labourers rescued
Press Trust of India Indore Four child labourers were rescued by the NGO Childline with the help of Madhya Pradesh Women and Child Welfare Department today.
Acting on a tip-off, Childline activists and department officials raided a restaurant near the railway station here and rescued four children, Child Conservation Officer Bhagwandas Sahu told PTI.
Two of them were 14-year-old while other two were 15-year-old.
The restaurant owner was accused of forcing them to work and keeping them captive.
The rescued children will be produced before the District Child Welfare Committee.
