Senior BJP leader and Indore Mayor Krishna Murari Moghe today resigned from his post in the civic body.
Moghe told reporters at his residence that he came to know during a recent meeting that all BJP MLAs (from Indore) were not satisfied with the works done by the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) and were opposed to him.
In view of this, it was his moral responsibility to resign from the Mayor's post, he said adding that he had sent his resignation to the municipal commissioner.
Moghe had worked as an organisational secretary for the Madhya Pradesh BJP in the past.
