Industiral oils move down in sluggish trade

Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial moved down further in an otherwise sluggish Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to subdued demand from shippers and soap manufacturing units.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein edged-down lower offtake from retailers.
Meanwhile, groundnutoil and linseed oil held steady in the absence of any largescale buying.
The castorseeds futures rate were unavailable.
In non-edible section, castorseeds bold slid by Rs 40 per 100kg to Rs 3,925 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 3,965 and castoroil commercial eased by Rs 8 per 10kg to Rs 815 as against Rs 823 previously. Linseedoil remained unaltered at Rs 840 per 10kg.

Moving to edible segment, refined palmolein softened by a Re per 10 kg to Rs 572 from Rs 573 last weekend. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 750 per 10 kg.
