The festival is likely to be inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
The 'information centre' has been set up with an aim to provide 24-hour up-to-date information about pilgrim centres, tourism sports and devotional programmes to public during the festival, East Godavari District Collector H Arun Kumar said after inaugurating the centre.
As part of 'heli-tourism', helicopter rides over nearby places will be available during the three days of the festival, he said.
He said that the authorities had received good response to the helicopter rides during Godavari 'Mahapushakaram' held in the district last year.
