At a party meeting held here today, the Indian National Lok Dal said it will form 90 teams for spearheading the campaign in as many Assembly constituencies in the state.
The decision was taken at a meeting of party MLAs and MPs held here, in which senior leaders including Abhay Singh Chautala, Ashok Arora, Ramphal Majra, Jaswinder Singh Sandhu and Gopichand Gehlot were also present.
The party will also release a poster "Varsh Ek-Museebat Anek" (one year, problems aplenty) to counter Khattar government's catchline "Ek Varsh-Sarvatra Harsh (one year, happiness all around)".
The BJP formed its government for the first time on its own in Haryana's nearly five-decade old history, and completed one-year in office on October 25.
Abhay Chautala alleged that the "state government has failed on all fronts".
"This only indicates that both BJP and Congress are hand-in-glove," Chautala alleged.
He also said that the BJP had gone back on its promises that included implementing the pay scales on Punjab pattern for Haryana government employees.
"On the contrary, the BJP government lowered the retirement age for the employees from earlier 60 to 58," he said.
"The Basmati growers are not getting remunerative price for their crop while cotton farmers faced the brunt as their crop was destroyed due to pest white fly attack, but the government appears to be in deep slumber," he charged.
Ashok Arora, state president of the INLD, said different sections of society were at the receiving end on account of the alleged misrule of the Khattar government.
