Inmate dies in Muzaffarnagar jail
85-year-old Rajpal was suffering from heart problems since few days and was undergoing treatment. He died yesterday and his body was handed over to the family after post mortem, Jailor Mizalilal said.
He was serving life sentence since ten years in connection with a murder case, he said adding, a judicial enquiry has been ordered into the prisoners' death.
