Confirming the series' renewal were the 33-year-old actress Schumer herself as well as the network's content development and original programming president Kent Alterman, reported Aceshowbiz.
"We love being 'Inside Amy Schumer' and are thrilled our audience agrees," Alterman said in a statement.
"I'm so happy to keep the 'Inside Amy Schumer' family together. Excited and scared for everyone to see what we do next," Schumer confirmed the renewal during an appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman".
"Inside Amy Schumer" explores topics revolving around sex and relationships and "is made up of scripted vignettes, stand-up comedy, and man-on-the-street interviews."
Some famous celebsrities who have guest starred on the series include Jerry Seinfeld, Dennis Quaid, Jeff Goldblum, Method Man, America Ferrera, Natasha Lyonne, and Justin Long.
