Inspector, SI taken off active duty for 'negligence'

Three senior cops have been taken off active duty here for their "negligence" and "dereliction of duty", police said today.
"Pilua kotwali Inspector Ramesh Chandra Tiwari and Sub-Inspector Ahivaran Singh were taken off active duty as they were found lacking in duties assigned to them in public interest," SSP Surendra Kumar Verma said.
Senior Sub-Inspector Suneel Kumar Srivastava was also taken off active duty due to similar reasons, Verma said.
