The accused has been directed to give written reply over the charges leveled by the policewomen ranging from constables to assistant sub inspectors against him, a senior police officer said.
Four months ago, a woman personnel, posted at provisions and logistics department, complained against the officer to the DCP concerned. But no action was taken against him, she had said in her complain to the Delhi Police Commissioner.
Later, nearly two dozen more women personnel complained against the inspector, who is posted at Provisions and Logistics Department of the force, to the commissioner.
The complaints are being probed by the vigilance unit and the sexual harassment committee of Delhi Police.
