Acting on a tip off, police raided the jungle located between Balibhasa and Beltola villages along the National Highway Six and nabbed the six men, who used to operate in Jharkhand, Odisha and Bengal, Superintendent of Police Bharati Ghosh said.
The gangsters were arrested when they were resting in the jungle on their way from Dhanbad, she said.
One pistol, some cartridges, six mobile phones and some ATM cards of both private and public sector banks were recovered from them. Their car, parked at a side of the national highway, was also impounded.
