IOC, Indiabulls Housing shares gain after inclusion in Nifty

Shares of Indian Oil Corporation and Indiabulls Housing Finance rose up to 3 per cent after inclusion in the National Stock Exchange's Nifty 50 index from today.
Indian Oil Corporation went up by 2.72 per cent to Rs 387.05 while Indiabulls Housing gained 0.72 per cent to close at Rs 997.75 on NSE.
State-run Bhel and telecom major Idea Cellular moved out of Nifty 50 index with effect from today.
Indiabulls Housing and IOC were included in the index in their place.
Shares of Idea fell by 1.37 per cent to Rs 85.85 and Bhel lost 0.97 per cent to Rs 162.85.
The changes were announced by Indian Index Services and Product, an arm of NSE, last month.
