IPS officers given postings, transferred in Telangana

The Telangana government has effected transfers and given postings to a number of IPS officers allotted to the state in provisional allocation of All India Service Officers following bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Senior IPS officer Sudeep Lakhtakia has been posted as Additional Director General of Police, according to a government order issued last night.
T Krishna Prasad, Additional Director General of Police (technical services), is transferred and posted as Additional General of Police, Railways and Road Safety, in the existing vacancy.
On transfer, Satyanarain is posted as Additional General of Police (CID) of Telangana, Hyderabad, in the existing vacancy.
Batti Lal Meena is posted as Director General, Drugs and Copy Rights, Drugs Control (Admn) Telangana, Hyderabad.

J Purnachandra Rao, who was MD of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) till recently, is posted as Chairman, State Level Police Recruitment Board, Hyderabad.
Several other senior officers have been given postings or transferred in the exercise.
